Acrylic Mediums
Does paper mod podge have an acrylic medium?
I’m doing a craft that calls for an acrylic medium, and the guide says mod podge can be used because it has an acrylic medium. I have mod podge, but it says Paper Mod Podge. Is it the same? Does it still have an acrylic medium? Or do I have to buy new mod podge?

From what I am reading Mod Podge is similar to Elmer’s Glue. And there are recipes for making a home made Mod Podge that call for using Elmer’s glue.
Elmer’s is PVA Polyvinyl acetate

Acrylic mediums are acrylic polymers. Both Acrylic polymers and polyvinyl acetate are water soluble
All of the materials I have mentioned can be used as an adhesive and sealer.
Acrylic polymers were originally developed as an adhesive. But they didn’t dry as fast as they wanted so when given lemons they made lemonade or in this case added pigments and they made what became acrylic paints.
I’m pretty sure that I have probably at some point got some acrylic polymer and Elmer’s glue mixed together and don’t recall any problems.
